Just a heads up in case anyone didn't notice on the deck plan, but unlike the Wonder and Magic where deck 5 has the movie theater and a studio, deck 5 on the Fantasy is all of the kids clubs in the middle with rooms on the back and front. Originally we were booked in a room on that floor but changed it to deck 6 aft. If you have kids, it would be an ideal location and very convenient. We have no little ones, so it didn't benefit us to be there.

Out of curiosity, why didn't you put the child in the 11B for booking purposes. I think it would have saved you a little extra (about $100 before the 10% discount).

I priced it with both combinations thinking the same thing, but pricing for 1st person, 2nd person and 3rd person were the same regardless of them being an adult or child (16).

Maybe the age is the difference. We did the same thing (verandah/inside stateroom) for our 6/2/2012 cruise and it worked out to be about $100 less expensive for our 10 year old to be in the inside stateroom. Another pricing oddity of DCL.

Aggghhhh - had to change dates due to hubby's work/class schedule
Relieved to again say, booking was no problem, no wait time and Glenda couldn't have been more fabulous Was able to get the same staterooms...phew. Price was a little higher but nothing tragic and the bonus was the obc for Room #2 went up $100 Not sure why, but I'm not complainin Here are the new prices:

Ahhh, that could be it. Wish that, aside from itty bitties, there would still be some type of discount for "child". Oh well...at least the price for the 3rd person in a room does go down a nice amount. Thank you for the post tho and trying to save me a few $$....always appreciated (means more umbrella DOD's for Mom!!!...hee hee)
