Fantasy 05E - verandah weather?

So there is a Deluxe Ocean view Stateroom with Verandah – Guaranteed Decks 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 - Category 05E

This looks to be only the aft rooms of the ship with the larger verandahs. I have my choice of the 04E deck 5 which we really liked last time so just trying to get an idea.

I am wondering is wind really an issue there? How is the sound do you hear the ocean with the door open?

It would just be the two of us so no worry about the size of the room really.

Please do not leave the verandah door open while cruising. It really messes with the AC system, not just for you, but several rooms on either side of you.

Completely missed that then during out last cruise. Likely a sign I completely missed the point about keeping the door shut.

There is no wind at the aft as you look over the rear of the ship in a 5e. The corner rooms would experience slightly more wind. You can receive soot from the funnels over night on your decks. There is a gentle hum at the rea. The side has more sounds of the ocean hitting the sides of the ship.

Are they really fixing the vibration on the Fantasy in France? I’ve been reading a lot about it here. Especially how it’s felt in aft cabins.

I ended up going with a Wonder Cruise instead but from what I read its going to France to a ship yard that specifically specializes in that issue.
