Just wanted to send an update to the roll call. Our neighbors will not be going with us. Can you remove them? Also, do my parents and my sister need to subscribe to this thread in order to do the fish extender or can they do it under me? Oh, and, does anyone know if we need a costume for a Halloween party and a pirate costume for pirate night? Not sure how that works. Thanks!

You only need one person to subscribe to the thread and then anyone can join that wants to in their party.

Having our cruise start on Halloween is a unique situation, but in the past, the Halloween & Pirate Parties have been held on 2 different nights. You will see a wide range of dress for both nights! Some people will go all out with elaborate costumes and others will not dress up at all. The great thing is that no one, no matter has they are dressed, will feel out of place!!

Be kind to the newbie - hope I'm doing this right! There will be five of us on our first cruise ever, and we had to do Disney of course! DH and I, our 9 year old DD, 6 year old DD, and 3 year old DS are commisserating with our fellow PA/NJ neighbors in freezing and daydreaming about this cruise! We're very excited to try something new, and to meet new friends! Please add us to the FE festivities as well!

I'm so happy so see that my DD9 will have so many kids her age onboard. I always get nervous that she won't meet anyone, but that's never the case. Snowed in today due to school cancelations in Omaha NE. Oct 31 can't come soon enough!!

Totally excited for our first Disney cruise, and on Halloween too - AWESOME! We have the whole family in tow; Me, my DH, our four kids DS (9), DD (7), DD (4), and DS (2) as well as my parents! All eight of us are so excited and talk about it everyday. Please sign us up for the FE for two staterooms!

Is anyone interested in a mini-Fish Extender Exchange? I'm thinking if I can find 5 other families with young kids (mine will be 6&4 ATOS) - we can each pick a day. That way, my kids' attention spans would hold long enough to deliver 5 gifts (and find 5 staterooms). They'd still get a surprise per day, without a lot of stress and time invested. Anyone up for a mini?

I guess I'm not very clear on how the FE works. I thought what you are describing as a "mini" is what a normal one really was. So, what exactly is the difference?

A normal FE sometimes has as many staterooms as 25-30 and those staterooms would be all over the ship with all different aged people in them, often times, just adults.

you need to sign up beforehand. we did an FE on our first cruise and it was fun, but we are opting not to do one this trip. I'm still bringing my FE and putting gifts in it myself for my DD. So excited to set sail!! I was wondering if anyone was setting up a mixology or tasting class. I would love to join that if possible.

So do we still need someone to organize the FE? If so, I will be happy to take that on. If someone could confirm that we don't already have a new organizer, I'll start a new FE-only group and I'll provide everyone the info.

My daughter is going to be 5 in August. We are celebrating her birthday a little late since we don't cruise during hurricane season. I will be 31, Grammy will be 46, and Pops will be 49. You will love cruising and Haley is all about meeting new friends. I'm so excited we found out about this though. We will be in room 2046. Do you need any more info to add us?

My DD Brooklyn will be 9 when we sail. She LOVES meeting new friends while we cruise.
