Hey there- so I do not mind paying the upcharge to have a seat for fantastic. We've done the dessert party several times. But I want to make sure we have a good spot. Yes, I was the one who was always first in line to get out seat assignments for the dessert party. Any insight as to how to not be behind a bunch of people/ waiters blocking our view? It's been a few years since we've last done DL as we hit WDW every year with DD's dance team. This is our last trip before she graduates and want to make the most of it. Going last week in June- Monday- Friday

So far, there has been no way to know for certain which table you will get on the RBT patio. Some people have booked at exactly 60 days out, first thing when the phone lines opened, and still not gotten a table at the railing. Others have booked a little later and gotten a front row table. You can request a front row table, but you will be told that there is no guarantee where you will be seated. If you get a table farther back on the patio, you can ask if you can stand for the show so that you can have a better view. Some guests have been able to stand to the side for the show so that their photographs and videos are unobstructed.
