Fantastic Dining-Brown Derby or Mama Melrose

I currently have ADRs for both. I have the Dining Plan, is Brown Derby worth the two credits or should I go with Mama Melrose?

I'll be solo, love seafood but not steak or heavy pastas. I saw that MM has a catch of the day, has anyone had this? I assume I can get this with the package?

I'm more familiar with Brown Derby menu but not on the FDP.

When we did Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic package, there were only specific things we could order (I believe there was a choice of three appetizers, some entrees, and you didn't get a choice for dessert). I don't remember if fish was on it or not; I just remember that my rosemary chicken flatbread was extremely underwhelming.

Thanks! I'm already a fan of Brown Derby but not sure if I want to "spend" two credits, especially if it's just me. I'm already doing the RoL package at Tiffins-no way I'm doing a character meal alone! It was a lot harder to snag a MM ADR as well. Flatbread would be okay, I think. Really wish I could find a FDP for Mama Melrose menu!

I don't think that's how it's done anymore. I was curious when I saw this post so I did some Internet digging. I believe you're free to order any appetizer and any entree, but they do give you the dessert sampler.

Anybody know what they do for kid desserts on the Fantasmic Package?

It would be great if that's the case. I've been googling my rear off and can't find anything definitive. I'm not nearly as picky about dessert, if it's sugar and fat laden I'm sure I'll love it

In September it was that way, we could choose whatever we wanted and then dessert was the sampler.

@FSU Girl-Thanks so much! I think I'll keep Mama Melrose. I love Brown Derby but this River of Light dining thing has me a little short on credits. I'm still trying to get used to doing table service by myself and really, really, really am not ready for a solo character meal.
