It called its scientific underpinning "naive" and "biochemically incorrect." And it scolded book publishers for promoting "bizarre concepts of nutrition and dieting."
It amazes me that there are still dietitians, nutritionists, physicians and nurses who believe that too. I know I let that prejudice stop me from trying Atkins for a long time, unfortunately
