Hi,

We are set to catch Fantasmic at 7 and would like to then see the Star Wars fireworks which take place at 8 in Hollywood Studios. Does anyone have any recommendations on how best to do this. We will not have a fastpass for Fantasmic. Thanks for any suggestions.

You'll have 30 minutes between the end of Fantasmic and the fireworks.

When we watch Fantasmic, we wait a couple of minutes after it ends before we walk across the front of the amphitheater to the far right and then exit up the stairs. Using that exit and veering left when you are backstage will lead you to the very front of the park. You'll have a great view of the fireworks from there, or, you can make your way through the shops and head to the 50's Prime Time/Echo Lake area.

@yulilin3's SW thread has tips for the Echo Lake viewing area:

We have been to F! multiple times (last being 3 times between Jan. 6-16, 2015) and many dozens of times in the previous years before that.
We always exit via the southern pathway.
We have never, ever seen the "veer to the left" (east) passage (exit near Oscar's Gas) open to exiting guests.
We always look. Never open.

We have always been routed back to the east side of Beauty and the Beast and exit onto (a very busy) Sunset Blvd.

I'd love to exit near Oscar's Gas, but that's never an option for us.
(I know I could "crash" my way though there, but I'd, sure as anything, be "caught.")

Thanks. I have been wondering the same thing. My day in DHS is just 16 days away.

Guests were directed to the front of the park during SWW possibly because of the heavy fireworks' crowds on Hollywood Blvd.

We exited to the front of the park three times in one night (January 1, 2013) because we obviously don't have a life and sit and watch Fantasmic endlessly. ;)

The southern exit is always advised on the SW thread to bypass the heavy crowds exiting through the main exit and to hopefully end up near Oscar's.

Yes. We always exit via the southern path.

We'll be at F! several times coming up within the next few weeks.
We'll be hopeful and vigilant about the "Oscar Route" at the bottom of the hill, but based on my other trips,
I'm not expecting to actually be able to get out that way.

Robo, we've been able to exit that way more than once.

But I think it was always from the second show, and the park was probably closed by that time.

Where is the "Southern Exit" if one's back is toward the stage, in other words facing the exits? Would that be to the left? I'm going next Monday, I love Fantasmic, would love to catch it twice, but I also want to see "Symphony In the Stars."
Thanks.

I've labelled it #11 on the maps below.

BTW, IGNORE the pathway I have marked as the "Dining Pkg. Entrance" walkway.
That lower map is out-of-date, but shows the secondary exit path very well.

Yes, if your back is to the stage, head left and up the final stairway.

This exit will either unload you at the front of the park or near the entrance of Beauty and the Beast. Either way, you will have 30 minutes to find a spot for fireworks.

Thanks! Great! All the times I've seen it, I've always sat in the front row right opposite the middle of the stage, and then exit the same path I entered.
