Fantasmic

Do you think Fantasmic is appropriate for a 2 year old? I heard there are villains and some scary thigns for a 2 year old. Opinions?

Really depends on the 2 yr old. We took our neice this past fall who was just shy of 2. She did fine-- but she didn't really watch the show. Rather she sat on my lap-- facing me playing w/ my necklace. She isn't scared by loud noises, and had done well during most attractions so far-- so we gave it a chance and it worked out. I can see though where the show may completely frighten a toddler.

naturally it depends on the child but i did see a lot of scared, crying todddlers when we were there some who had to be taken out and it was more scary than I thought it would be, large dragon, a witch, loud noses and the dark..not even close the same scale as a fireworks display or illuminations as far as the fear factor. i know my kids would have been afraid as toddlers but they were not even crazy about disney movies at the theatre(due to the size of the villans) as young kids

My kids are now 4 & 7 and they have been seeing Fantasmic every year since they were 8 months & 3 1/2. They have never had a problem. Even when my youngest cried for the entire showing of FITS, he still enjoyed Fantasmic.
I should add they arent very brave and last year(ages 3 & 6) had to be taken out of ITTBAB.

Took the 2 1/2 year old dd to Fantasmic in April, and she was ok with it. We sat way in the back, so that might have been easier for her. She looked around a lot. If anything bothered her, it would be loud noises. She was ok with the villians. If your 2 year old is semi-tolerant of loud sounds, then you'll be fine.
