Does anyone know why Fantasmic doesn't seem to be offered in October???

It usually takes place on weekends in the off season (unless it is undergoing maintenance or a refurbishment) -- but Mickey's Halloween Party eats up a lot Friday nights, so Fantasmic can't happen on any of those nights. And this year there is an MHP on Saturday, 10/31, as well as on a Sunday (10/25), so no Fantasmic on those dates either.

The only October Friday that MHP is not happening this year is 10/30/15.

I'm curious how you're even seeing an October schedule. The entertainment calendar on the disney site only goes until about mid-September.

^^^^That's what I was thinking. Nothing is posted for October yet.

By the same token, there hasn't really been any rumors/information to indicate that DLR is going to deviate from the historical pattern of only offering F! on weekends in October. The Parks Blog post that announced that fireworks and PtN would be nightly didn't mention anything about F!. The early September schedules that are up seem to also indicate the F! is dropping back down to the weekend-only schedule once the peak summer season ends. They could surprise us and present F! nightly, but I kind of think they would have said that in the Parks Blog post as well. We shall have to wait and see!

The OP could have also been looking at the wdwinfo projected October calendar for DLR. Which has forecasted hours posted, but no entertainment information.

Perhaps the OP may is asking why the Fantasmic! Dining options have not opened in October (we are within our 60-day window). Just in case this is what the OP meant, I called the dining hotline and the lady told me October is blocked out right now and they hope to have it resolved next week. I am trying to book for Sunday October 4th....Funny thing though, I was able to book a Steakhouse 55 breakfast for Wednesday October 7th, so not all dining is blocked online or over the phone

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. I was able to book WOC and it seemed odd that Fantasmic isn't showing available dates. I just read on another thread that many people are asking the same question. Seems like they just haven't loaded all the information yet. It's sure making planning, for a planner like me, a challenge.
