It's a great show but loud and dark. You should be able to see videos on you tube I would imagine. You need to line up in most instances at least one hour before hand to get a seat, sometimes even longer. We are bringing our boys in May and they will be almost 19 months and will be skipping it. I have seen too many children being carried out crying.
I would second the see the video on Youtube and then decide. Yes it is scary and dark, but the view of the movies on the water is really cool. We never miss it!
I second Tina's reply. We never miss it. Our son was 4 the first time he saw and he loved it. Make sure you either do the fantasmic dinner special or get in line early. Get close up seats so the kiddos can see good. The effects are amazing and the finale is awesome!!
The first time my DD saw it she was 6 and it didn't bother her, last year when we went she was 7 and she absolutely hated it, it scared her...although as we were sitting through it the second time, I was thinking to myself, it seems more scary this year than last, maybe they changed something???
OP, With your children as young as they are, definitely check out the YouTube vid and see if they're interested. Also, the wait line to get in is crazyyyyyyyy long
We went solo and left the kids at the hotel with my mom.
