question dose any one remember when in the last few years. They started playing Fantasmic in dec?
I am going more close to mid month an hoping we will get one show an hoping to get the special desert seating.

We wont be there on weekend

Glad to see you back, JadeD. I am not sure when they started it back up again. As far as I know, they plan on offering Fantasmic throughout the year, so there's a good chance you will get an opportunity to go.

How many days are you doing in the parks? I always plan our DL trips to where we avoid the weekends too (for the most part).

In December F! usually only plays Fri, Sat, Sun except in peak Xmas weeks.

thanks, we will be in park mon tue wen if i find out F is one day difference or something we may change things idk we want to do it an we want the desert but we have to see bout money.

well looking at the weeks we may or may not be there in time if they start it in begging of the week an not on thursday we will be there. If i find out its thur-sun night then maybe we will push back enough to start sunday. an see f that night oi idk lol all ifs right now

In 2009 they played Fantasmic! on Wednesday and Thursday after the Cast Member parties (so December 9 and 10). The park was open until 11 PM both days--someone here theorized that might have been to make up for the park closing early for the Cast Member parties. The crowds did not warrant a late closing, but I enjoyed it very much! (It was also scheduled to play Friday-Sunday, but it started raining Friday night so I think only the first Friday night show played. Saturday's didn't play at all due to rain.)

If I recall correctly, there were days in the following week when Fantasmic! did not play.

Jade - I have a times guide from Dec. 8-11, 2008 - those were CM Christmas Party days and the guide shows Monday through Thursday. No Fantasmic! The Christmas parade runs once every day and the fireworks run every day along with Jedi Training and some of the other shows.

The parks were open Mon. and Tues. from 8 am to 6 pm (CM Christmas parties) and 9 am to 10 pm on Wed. and Thurs. I am sure F! runs on the weekends, but according to my guide Thurs. is NOT considered a weekend.

ty, were going the week after the partys if i had everything planed right. (12-16 mon tue wed days we were planing. If i find out that thursday if F like last year because the partys lol i may just have to move up or down a day.)

Eeee-va was right, I was there on dec 10-13 and they showed F! on Thursday. It was great that the park was not that crowded that weekend due to the rain, and they did not show F! on sat which was disappointing.
