I have never been to HS and we are going on our upcoming trip. I read about fantasmic, but from what I read you have to be there 90 minutes before the show starts. My DD4 would love this show but she has aspbergers with ADHD on top of that and there is no way we could wait that long. Can you still get a seat if you show up right before the show?

possibly if you have a gac. I would call and check, but it might be something that you can go and check in with a CM working around the gates by where Fantasmic will be, and show your GAC and they will have a seperate waiting area for you or just have you come back at a certain time. We had a GAC about 1.5 yrs agon for our LO and we were able to walk right in and take a seat, but the last time we were there, 6 mo ago, the lines are just NUTS We will more than likely have a GAC again this trip since DD is back on monitors and will need to use her stroller as a wheelchair, so I will know then how that will work. Maybe check on the disAbilities board, Im sure someone there can help you.

There is not really a separate waiting area for Fantasmic for people with special needs.
How fast seats fill up really varies depending on the crowd.

With a 4 yr old with those special needs, I would suggest you consider getting a Guest Assistance Card or 'stroller as a wheelchair' sticker that would allow her to stay in a stroller and have it treated just like a wheelchair. Even if she doesn't need a stroller because she can walk, many children with special needs like the stroller as a 'safe haven' that makes being in crowded areas much easier.
