Hi everyone,

I am thinking about booking a Fantasmic dinner package for our May trip but I'm wondering about other people's experiences with the show and a toddler. I don't think that DD has been really fearful - recently went to movies and Wringling Bros. Circus in the dark and was ok sitting in dh's lap. She did not cry but definately wanted to be held. I want to book the dinner package so that we won't have to wait in line for 60-90mins prior to the show - something she (and I) can't really handle well. Any experiences?

Thanks

We also didn't want to wait in line so we just did this on our last trip with our 2 1/2 yo DD. We did the buffet at H & V. Lots of food choices and she ate lots! Timing was good and when we went to go be seated we only had about a fifteen min wait after we sat down. Warning!!! They seat you all the way over to the right side. It doesn't matter however because there is three "water screen's" and the stage area is set back pretty far from the seats.

We walked in with lots of other people and when we reached the tops of the seats people were sitting down right away at the top. I kept right on going down the stairs and ended up with seats in the third row, no wait lets sit in the second, wow look at that there was room on one of the front little benches!! We had great seats but even though we had an afternoon break at the hotel my daughter fell ASLEEP right in the middle of it. She is not the "frightened" type so that was not an issue for us. We are planning to do the same thing in February.

Go for it!

We did the dinner package with our ds when he was 2.5. He did pretty good through the show. There were a few parts that seemed to scare him a little; but he seemed ok to be in one of our laps. He didn't cry or anything like that!:D

However, he would not go see it again at 3.5! Said it was soooooo scary! He did go see it again at 4.5 and really enjoyed it!

Good luck with whatever you decide. Even if your dd doesn't like, you can always leave. At least you'll have had a good meal and you didn't have to wait 60-90 minutes to find out she didn't like it!;) Have fun!:earsgirl:

I always wanted to see Fantasmic and I'm glad to hear other's experiences. I think we'll go for the buffet dinner too. Thanks
