OK...Our plan is to go to MGM on Tuesday May 30...That is after the big Memorial day weekend and after an extra magic hour day... So we are hoping the crowds will have calmed a bit????? :confused3 Wishful thinking!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

So there is a 9:00 pm show that night...What time should we arrive... If we go around 8:15 will we get an ok seat???? :rolleyes1

If you get a seat. I don't think there are bad seats for fantasmic, you can see from pretty much wherever you are..

I'd either do the Fantasmic dinner package or bring counter service food with you and be there at 8pm.

We will also be there on the same day, planning Fantasmic that night too! Is the Fantasmic dinner package needed if there is only one show at 9:00? I have ADR's for Hollywood & Vine at 4:10!! That seems so early, especially since the show doesnt start until 9. I'm thinking about cancelling and just getting food at Fantasmic and eating in the stands while waiting for the show to start. Any thoughts?

We always do the package. We figure we're gonna eat anyway, and we typically do those restaurants. Yes it's a bit early, but it's off peak and the restaurant won't be too crowded. You'll also get a nice break at the hottest part of the day. With the package, you can show up as late as 8:30 for the 9:00 show and still have great seats and a separate entrance (and quick access to the exit after). Without, you'll need to get there by at least 8.

We typically get a seating time for the restaurant about 3-4. Have breakfast at the hotel, graze on popcorn and snacks for lunch, eat dinner, then we're ready for a snack at Fantasmic, too! Works out great.

One time we did grab the big Turkey legs and go sit down early and eat! :thumbsup2
This trip we have an ADR for 50 prime time at 5:30???

We will probably be ready to sit by 8:00 pm and so we will just go an hour early and get any seat available to us... I will make sure we get to go somehow???? :cool1:

I have never been when it was a 7 crowd level...So this will be a first for us.
