In September, is it possible to arrive at Fantasmic and get a seat at the last minute? We don't care where we sit.

I've always taken advantage of the Fantasmic Dinner package so I didn't have to find a seat so early.

I'll bump this back to page one for you and hopefully some of our veterans can answer your question.

We went the first week of October last year. We arrived an hour early and it was only half full. Seats were still available (all the way on the far side) up until the show started.

We got there about 15 minutes before show time and got a seat in the back right corner. That was back in May.

I have the same question for the first week of Oct..... never having attended Fantasmic before I really don't know how to plan... know for sure I don't want dinner at 4:00pm! Will hope for the best... and arrive 30 min. to show time!

We went the third week of Sept last year and arrived about 10 minutes prior and got seats. We were in the second row in the middle. It was a little wet, but we loved it. There were also still seats along both sides until show time. HTH

People were getting seats just as the show started when we were there on Saturday 8/21. It POURED for a couple of hours late in the afternoon that day, ending ~6pm, so that may have discouraged some people from going to MGM and taking their chances.....

I was wondering is it possible to save seats for family members. WE have young children in our group who would be impatient with a long wait. Can some adults sit down while one adult walks the little ones around until just before the show?

I asked this in an earlier post on the restraunt boards, FDP thread and did not get an answer. Please some one answer as I am wondering this myself.

Same here.. We went towards the end of May and walked in 15 minutes before the show and sat on the left, which has the best view IMHO. The show looks better from further back and then you don't have to fight the crowds as much when you leave. We always go on the rides while everyone else is waiting in line for an hour to see the show. -Steph

I would all sit down to get your spaces, and then let the adult & kids walk around. That way the cm can't make you push together as they are seating people (they seat by sections and rows).

^I agree with what was just said. DO NOT allow your family members to leave the theater, however...let them walk to the bathroom, go look at the stands, etc, but don't leave because after a certain point (when a certain number of people go up the hill) they won't let people go up the hill. You wouldn't want to risk them not getting in. It doesn't matter if they've already been up there or not either. All in all, it's better if everyone stays seated though, since if you run to the bathroom or whatever, sometimes they give you a hard time about getting back to your original seats since they're not seating the same area anymore.

I agree with this. Make sure that everyone has a seat first. The person walking around with the kids should not leave the theatre. They are not guaranteed readmittance once they leave if the theatre becomes full.

Jan we ( 2) got fine seats about 10-15 min preshow but while lots were still available, if you have a larger party i probably wouldn't have waited that long since they were scattered here and there rather than big empty sections
