Our last day in DL is May 28th. This is the day that Fantasmic returns plus the start of new fireworks. Fantasmic is at 9:00 and 10:30, and Fireworks are at 9:25.

I really want to see both but I don't think my little ones will last until 10:30. Which would you do? PS this is our first time to disney so it is all foreign to me!!

Last year with our girls (then 5 & 2.5 yr olds) we got great front seats at Fantasmic then when the show was over we stayed to watch the fireworks from there. You can't see any of the castle projections and can just catch a baby peek of Tinkerbell (& Dumbo) but you do see the fireworks and hear the music to go with the show. Then we left the parks (around 940-945). This could be a good option. If you can afford it you might consider the Fantasmic dessert seating.

I would lean towards Fantasmic at 9PM since you can't do 10:30. But realize it will be the first day back after a five month hiatus. It will be really crowded. You will need to get there early to get a reasonable spot. With kids you will want a spot in front near the warter. How early? Well, if it was a regular night (not re-opening) I would say at least two hours. In your case I can easily see it being four hours. Take a blanket and leave a person there at all times to hold the spot. :)

Watch the early Fantasmic, but don't leave before the fireworks. You will not have long to wait to see the fireworks. They are both amazing and your little ones will love them. Just be sure they have a good nap :cloud9:

Since it's your last day at DL, do both. The kids can sleep in the next morning.

First catch the fireworks show near the castle. About 20 minutes into the fireworks show, start making your way over to Fantasmic. You want to beat the gridlock following the fireworks show. As soon as the first showing of Fantasmic ends, claim your viewing space for the 2nd showing. The 2nd showing of Fantasmic should be over at about 11:15
