Fantasmic Thread!

Thank you so much. Do the tickets go live at midnight SoCal time 60 days before?

You can book a dining package (Rancho del Zocalo, Cafe Orleans, or River Belle Terrace) but can't purchase tickets for Fantasmic. River Belle Terrace also offers a premium dining package with seating at a table at the restaurant. It is a very small area so availability is limited. All dining packages open 60 days in advance at 6 am PST.

I've been watching old Disneyland parades on YouTube, and it gave me some ideas of what they could've considered doing as a temporary replacement while they worked on a new animatronic dragon. In the Flights of Fantasy parade from the early '80s, there was an inflatable Maleficent dragon. Certainly not as impressive as an animatronic, as it kinda just looked like a giant pool toy or holiday yard decoration, but something like that would've been better than no dragon in the mean time.

I hope you have fun

Also I have done both the Dinning at Blue Bayou and rancho del zocalo, seating wise both are good spots. So unless you want to eat at the BB then I'd go with the cheaper option
Where did you sit to watch the show? 9 pm would be very late for my dinner as it would be 12 pm my usual time.

You don't eat while watching the show. Even if you get the premium River Belle Terrace package you eat before the show (seating is at 715, if I remember correctly). You eat before hand at a time you select when booking the package. The dining package gives you a "ticket" to the reserved (ground) seating section on the river front.

Oh thanks for this. The website is confusing to me.

It is confusing for people who haven't been. The only dining options at DLR where you sit and watch the show are the River Belle Premum Fantasmic Package (not regular River Belle Package), the World of Color Dessert Party (not the WOC dining package), the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Viewing (but it's a bad view and if you get a Fantasmic package you can watch from that viewing area), and the Better Together Dessert Package. Everything else is a situation where you eat earlier in the day then get a voucher to watch from a designated viewing spot later.

Where is the regular seating for the regular Fantasmic packages if I book Riverbelle Terrace - not the premium package. (We haven't been since 1/2020. Sorry if this has been asked before.) Honestly I don't know if I want to view if from the patio. The last time we tried to do that, I remember it being an obstructed view with trees and people in the way. Is it still like this with the trees in the way?
Do they allow people to sit and watch the show still at the waterfront (with the dining packages) or do they make you stand? Thanks for any info!

The regular seating is in a designated area down at the waterfront and everyone who is in that area for the package viewing has to be seated for the whole show - no standing! Its the best! 🤩
