Interesting. Did it sound like a permanent addition? I wonder if it just means either River Belle Terrace or Blue Bayou will be undergoing refurbishment for some period beginning January 10.

Which raises the question of where they're going to put people, since the prime viewing area is already full of patrons from three restaurants.

The package looks more premium than RB although it doesn't appear to include a drink. Maybe Blue Bayou is going down for a bit after the holidays.

I wouldn't be surprised if they created a reserved standing area over the bridge.

I checked this morning for January 10. There were no BB packages available at 610AM but when I checked BB's reservations for January 10th all the times were available, Maybe no BB packages anymore? The Cafe Orleans would replace BB seating for F!. I'll check tomorrow morning again.

The parks were packed yesterday and all hands were on deck to help with traffic flow and general guest relations. It seemed like it was predominantly locals (with and without MK). Single day tickets to Disneyland sold out at 2:05 pm.

I was picking up food and a CM wearing a jacket saying Leadership Operations was helping with the queues. We were talking as I waited. She shared that locals tend to use mobile order more than visitors. She commented that visitors are more hesitant about entering their credit card into an app, and find the mobile order process confusing. I asked if she knew anything about Fantasmic and the new Cafe Orleans package. She confirmed that it was going to replace Blue Bayou. This is just one person, but he was in management and sounded pretty confident.

I wanted to watch the holiday fireworks and I knew it would be crowded so I booked a Fantasmic dining package. I did the RB package in May, RDZ in July, and booked BB yesterday to complete the trifecta. We weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money, but since it sounds like it is going away, we decided to go for it.

Check in at BB was not well organized. The Bootstrappers were playing and the CM with the handheld device couldn't tell who was there to check in and who was watching the musicians. The CM seemed frazzled. I asked for a table on the water and the CM was kind of abrupt, saying that they are backed up and it would be up to their manager. They called us about 15 minutes later and low and behold....

The service and food were good, but I still prefer Carthay Circle for both service and quality of food.

When it came time for Fantasmic, we arrived close to 8:15. They walked people down around 7:45 and the BB section was still relatively empty at 8:15. It might be my imagination, but it looks like they made the BB and RB sections smaller and made more room for RdZ. Both RB and BB had empty space last night.

We were second row, but a couple of nice families let scoot to the front and sit between them. This was my view from the BB section.

The announcements and CM did not make it clear that people should stay where they are for fireworks. Lights came on and our section pretty much emptied out. We didn't have any standby people come into our area to view the fireworks.

This was the view of fireworks from the BB dining area relative to the projections.

Thanks for the confirmation regarding CO F! packages replacing BB F! packages. Tomorrow will be booking for F! on Friday January 17th.

How does the snow compare in that location?

How is the show or how is the snow? There was snow after fireworks but it was directed away from the dining package seating. Cool but kind of anti-climatic.

Personally, I think the show is great from the dining package seating. I would do Rancho del Zocalo and arrive early to grab a good seat rather than paying more for RB or BB/CO, but that is just me. There was more misting on the waterfront this time. It is the first time that I've gotten wet sitting in the front. There were some kids nearby wearing ponchos.

If you want to watch the second show, it is easier to find a good spot to watch without a dining package.

No BB F! packages for Friday January 17. Only Riverbelle F! Premium and Regular packages for Jan. 17th.

No RdZ either?

Since they already announced the Cafe Orleans package, I wonder when they are going to start offering it for ADR.

Yes, the snow. If you are in the hub it falls right on you after the fireworks. I am wondering if it does the same at ROA. I am thinking of watching the fireworks after F! and I think the snow is a big part of the experience.

Horrible image, I know. I was standing at the rail at the water front and turned around to see the snow. It came from the lighting fixture and blew away from the dining package seating.
