We will be there in September, on a Friday night, and, if there is one Fantasmic showing, we would like to watch the Fantasmic show and then the fireworks with a view of the castle and matterhorn. Will it be possible to see both on one night? And how is the best way to move from NOS to main street area to see the fireworks? Where is the closest area to NOS to view the fireworks without obstruction?
Thanks for your help.

It's not remotely possible--the fireworks start 2 minutes (or less) after Fantasmic ends and there's not way to get into the hub area from the Rivers of America area that quickly. Usually the hub area is packed anyway. If you are at the Rivers of America, you can see the fireworks themselves just fine, just not the projections on the castle and Matterhorn. The Rivers area even gets the lasers for the Tommorowland section.

It's true--you can't see both if you are planning on seeing Fantasmic first. If you are only going to be there one night, go get a good seat for the fireworks. They are truly some of the best I've seen... plus, the show includes many special effects that are only visible from the Main Street area/looking towards the castle. If you are viewing them from Frontierland (Fantasmic), you will only see the fireworks/hear the music--you miss all the special effects, which make the show so spectacular.
