Fantasmic strategy

My plan for F! is to head to DHS purely to see the show on the night we choose as I don't want to do our normal DHS day on a F! day if they aren't daily. (although if when our hours come out it's shoing every night the plan may change)

We'll leave AKL about 1.5/2hrs before the show starts, armed with something to sit on, occupy us and snacks, and then head to the theatre once we get to DHS.

we are planning to do DHS on a fantasmic day, however we do not want to see the show, we see it as an opportunity to do do some rides whilst everyone is queing to go see fantasmic, am I right in thinking this?

Hmmm I think if there is only 2 showings a week during your trip the amount of extra visitors that day will counteract the fact that they'll be at F! in the evening.

Yes teh rides may be quieter during fantasmic, but most US visitors get non-hopper tickets, so will be at DHS from the morning until F! Unless the shows are more than 5 a week I'll be avoiding DHS on Fantasmic days!! (Excpet for the time I go purely to see the show.)

Please tell me you've already seen Fantasmic, as it really isn't a show to be missed :scared1:

Agreed! :thumbsup2 Hands down my absolute favourite Disney show, the opening bars never fail to give me goosebumps despite me listening to the song alll the time. I was so gutted it wasn't showing at Disneyland during our visit as IMO their Fantasmic is superior (going by Youtube videos and the fact that they don't have the weird Pocahontas bit!)

We haven't seen it at Disneyland, both visits we missed it due to meeting friends one night and I think it was Mickeys Halloween party other time over at Cali Adventure.

Yes we`ve seen it a few times and imho its not worth the aggro of waiting for 2 hrs
and we were not bothered to do the dining plan would rather do the rides,if its too busy in the am will switch to animal kingdom.
We plan to do Dhs on the Thurday 21st of May however according to the touring plan guide it will be the park to visit on the Friday 22nd May the day that the Star wars day opens which day should I go? I would have thought the quieter day would be the Thursday
