If you do not get a Fantasmic DInner Show package, how do you get tix to see the Fantasmic Show. How early in the day can you get them or can you get them days/months in advance?????????? what time does it start usually in august?

hi disney obsessed, we saw fantasmic in aug 2003 and I think it was around 8.30pm, this was a t the end of august, you don't need a ticket for fantasmic, if you haven't got the ticket that comes with the dinner package, you just queue up, doors open about two hours before the show and people queue before the doors open, we did the package twice in august 03 and have booked it again for may, I would recommend it if you have kids or you don't like to wait, with the package you can turn up about half hour before and sit in a reserved section.

Yup, no tickets required, just a lot of patience. You need to ge tin line about 2 hours to get a seat on a busy day. Using the FDP lets you in a back way near Oscars and into reserved seating. You only need to be there 30 minutes before the show.

I have done the FDP and will do it again. We ate at HBD and will do H&V next time.

HBD was very good but the meals seemed too upscale for us. I'm just a meat & potatoes guy.

thanks for the advice. im going to wait and find out what the hrs. are in august. from April though July its been starting at 9 but who knows, maby (hopefully) it will start a little but earlier.

MGM seems like the least interesting park for the kids, we are trying to get more out of it. we are going to eat at the sci Fi cafe any other advice for MGM besides 50s prime time cafe? we ate there last yr and i was humiliated when "mom" fed me the rest of my dinner.
