Fantasmic...should we try it?

I have been carefully planning our first trip to WDW. We are spending only one day in each park in the order listed due to grand gathering events.
Day 1: Animal Kingdom
Day 2: Epcot
Day 3: Hollywood Studios
Day 4: Magic Kingdom

Anyway, when I made 7:10 ADR for 1900 Park Fare, Fantasmic was not on the schedule for our HS day and now it is. We will be seeing Illuminations and Wishes. I was hoping DS10 & DD6 be somewhat rested for our long last day at MK or else .

Should we consider taking the kids to Fantasmic?

My DD7 and DS4 LOVED Fantasmic. They talk more about fantasmic than they do Illumiations or Wishes.

We went to fanstasmic for the first time last week.

It was a great show and definately a must see.

Edited to say: that said ,, there was a 4 year old behind us
who was crying and saying she was scared , I want to go home,
I want to go home. The larger than life witches coming out at
the audience caused her to scream. Her mom kept telling
her to shut up and they would leave when the show was over.
I felt so bad for that little girl. So if your child is scared of
loud booms , (disneys) villians , or fire , it might be a good idea
to wait untill they're older.

My kids favorite night show is Fantasmic. They all love it. The early show is not that late so you can still get back to your hotel at a reasonable hour. You do need to get to the theater about an hour early. As weird as this sounds, the time goes fast.

We love Fantasmic. We have been 3 or 4 times. The effects are amazing and it is ver action packed. It is well worth the wait to get in and you do have to be there early but don't worry too much about getting down front and close. I think it is really better if you are a little further back and all the seats are good in my opinion. Have a great trip!

We wouldn't miss fantasmic either! We love it, it was one of dds favorite shows.

Fantasmic is a must see. My kids love it and we make it a part of every trip. I would prefer it over Illuminations if I had to make a choice.

Fantasmic is amazing! I've seen it twice and both times it was fantastic! The kids will enjoy it. If you have the chance to see it you will be glad that you did.

We missed out last year due to rain and I was extremely bummed. It is definintely on the list for this year - you won't be sorry! It's a great show.

My older daughter is 6 and Fantasmic scares the crap out of her. We've skipped it for the last several years. I guess it's status as a "must see" depends on your child.

Play it by ear. If the kids are tired and whiny take them back to the hotel, if you don't it might be hard to get them up for MK, and MK will be their favorite. You can always see it the next time. We usually see F! every other time we go to Disney. But we go once a year. If this is a once in a lifttime trip you might want to cram in it. Always pluses and minuses to everything.
