Fantasmic seating ?

With the new fast pass system for Fantasmic it looks like there is no option to have an actual chair to sit on during the show. I know I am not the only one who cant' sit on the ground due to a medical condition. Are there any options?

There's the wheelchair seating areas, but they wouldn't provide a bench or folding chair, so you'd have to rent a wheelchair, ECV or rollator, maybe a cane seat would work. The other options would be an obstructed view from a restaurant if you can get a reservation and an outside table, or try for FP area with some kind of half wall or planter and line up early to make sure you're able to grab a spot. You'd probably have better luck with this strategy with the second show.

Wondering about this as well. DH had knee replacement surgery and he can't sit on the ground - well, he might be able to get down but not sure about getting back up He also wouldn't be able to cross his leg (sit Indian style) so we might take a bit more room than other folks.

That is really too bad they took that option away. I will probably rent a wheelchair for the day so I can see the show. Probably will need it anyway.

If you're considering renting a wheelchair for the day, look into the cost of a scooter.
You can google Anaheim Scooters or even do a search here. Off-site rentals are less expensive.

I didn't think there was much of a cost difference when I checked.
The plus side of a scooter is no one will have to push you around.

I'm not looking forward to sitting on the ground either....
Going down will be fine with gravity....
Getting up after an extended period of time.... Well..... is going to be a show in its' self....
I can feel it now OUCH!

We happened to be eating at the Stage Door Cafe right next to the Golden Horseshoe when F! started and ended up sitting through the show. We had Fast Passes, but once they started herding people into the lines, it looked pretty claustrophobic and like we'd be behind people anyway... CM'S came around and asked everyone to stay seated and not stand on the tables or chairs during the show, but we were welcome to watch from there. It was a pretty good view, with a little landscaping to peer through, but we saw all the floats, and I assume most of the projections. There were a few empty tables the whole time, but they had a section roped off to the left that I assumed was a reserved dining area, but I'm not totally familiar with all of the areas. Afterwards when everyone was escaping the area, we were at the front of the pack. I would totally consider ordering ice cream and watching from that location again on our next trip, but I splurged and booked a late dinner at the Blue Bayou!

Blue Bayou is indoors, there is no show during dinner. The Blue Bayou package gets you a FP for a certain section for later that night and a cushion for ground seating.
