Fantasmic Seating Question

Can those who have attended MGM/Fantasmic tell me where is the best place in the theater to watch this? Good advice on this would be greatly appreciated; we will be going the last week of September (Sept 24th - Oct 1st). Thanks in advance!

Center section mid-way is fabulous. That said, there really are no bad seats. You'll get some spray down front and it will take longer to get out of the theater, but other than that the view is great from almost everywhere.

We prefer the Mickey section near the top. Faster out, too. We love Fantasmic but last time we were there they had a production problem and the screens, etc were not working on the far left. Quite a bad show by Disney standards, but junk happens. We're hoping things are back to normal at Christmas when we go and are going to try the Fantasmic dinner package.

The other poster was right in saying there really are no bad seats. Enjoy.

Near top next to aisle. Closer to bathrooms, food, beer and the way out.

It will make you mad near the end of the show though when all of a sudden all the ADD dad's out there will load up their children and start to leave to get in line for buses and boats and block your view of the spectacular ending. It's so irritating!!

If you're in no hurry to get back to the hotel, get about 1/3 up from the water. You'll have less people blocking your view when they all get up to exit early.

Just don't sit too close or you might get wet from the spraying water. I really like the location of the Fantasmic package seating... the right hand side of the stage about half way up (great view and very quick exit), but I agree that there really isn't a bad seat.

I prefer the seats that are closer to the top, mid section, like the first few posters have suggested. However, I wanted to mention that if you get the Fantasmic dinner package seating then you will have a "special" closer and easier exit given to you as a package holder. We have done it both ways, with and without the package, and I prefer the seats in the mid section better so we never did the package again. If an easy and fast exit is important to you, then the package may be the way to go.

I haven't seen it for awhile but do they still get fussy about directing where you are supposed to sit? For example, when we got there, they were seating people at the bottom of the second section on the left side. We wanted to sit near the top of the section, which was totally empty. We didn't want to get wet at the bottom plus it is quicker to get out if sitting on the top. Plus steps are hard for my mom. The cm took a fit when we sat down there. I refused to move. Why should people arriving after us get the seats we wanted?

Another question. Both my wife and her mother are visually impaired. They have some sight, but both are extremely near-sighted and it's not correctable because of genetic issues. Does Disney do any modifications to help those with limited sight (i.e. monitors, etc.)?

Any of the seats that aren't in the last 2 sections on either side, about half way up will do you fine
