I've read about special seating for Fantasmic with a AAA package. Is this true and if so, where are these seats located. I've booked a Fantasmic dinner package, but if we can have seating with AAA I might cancel it to get a better time for dinner. Sorry if this has been asked, but I couldn't find an answer.

I booked with AAA but I haven' t heard about special seating. Nothing like that was noted in my booklet. I'd like to know as well! I also will cancel my dinner which was at 4PM (too early for dinner) if we can get a seat with AAA... Everytime I call it seems like they put me on hold to go call disney I believe. It takes so long to get an answer.... geez...

There's no special seating at Fantasmic! for AAA customers. The only special seating is for customers of the Fantasmic! Dinner Package

There is special seating for Wishes through AAA. You have to book it in advance. The seats are in a roped off section, just off Main Street past the ice cream parlor, with a perfect view!

Do you book it through AAA or Disney?

You book it through AAA. There is a CM with a clipboard who only lets you in if you're on the list. I have just called AAA to get on the list for our next trip, and the lady knew nothing about it, so I hope it wasn't a one-time thing last time we were there! :guilty: She is checking with Disney and will call back. As soon as I get some more info, I will post! :teeth:

Okay here's the scoop...
You need to have the AAA Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Plan in order to qualify for this. The people at AAA are clueless about the special fireworks viewing. You can call 407-WDW-TOUR within ten days of your visit if you have this plan and they will put you on the list. It's unavailable for anyone who doesn't have a voucher that you get when you book this plan.
Well, so much for that. :sad2:

I think those are the old Disney room packages, they changed the names this year. I know the Gold Plan had special seating at the Candlelight Processional a couple years ago.

Are they vacation packages? I have an AP, so booked my own room...there was nothing for AAA to do for me. Did I MESS UP AGAIN?

Beth

Does that apply if you book the package through them? I book my own stuff, but am a AAA member, would that apply?

I agree. The CM I spoke to said these plans no longer exist, but the WDWTour lady said they hold the space for people who have booked these plans in the past. That would explain why the area was 90% empty when we were there! We also have APs, so we're shut out as well. You can still stand near that area, which is really the best viewing area for Wishes. :3dglasses
