Fantasmic! Schedule before Christmas- and other stuff!

I always make sure I plan my trips around a weekend so that we get Fantasmic, but this year we are trying to go the few days before Christmas. Any chance it will be showing on off-days (Mon, Tues, Weds) right before? What kind-of other special things go on at the park in the days leading up to? And last, is it fun to spend the day before Christmas there for anyone who has done it?

In Dec '07, Fantasmic showed twice nightly starting on Dec 14.

Christmas Fantasy Parade
Disney's Electrical Parade (in DCA)
