Fantasmic Reservations

I just called Disneyland reservations to book reservations for the Fantasmic dessert for Sept 2. The dates are up on the main Disney webpage showing that they will have two shows on that date. After being on hold for 15 minutes the cm told me that they are not able to access any dates in September yet to make my reservation. I would need to call back in a couple of days. Is this normal policy not to be able to make reservations within the 30 day period?

30 days from the date of the show you want to see. We've been able to book at exactly 30 days before.

It's really strange you couldn't book for Sept 2nd! I wouldn't wait a couple of days - If you can, I'd call back tomorrow. That weekend will probably be busy, so you don't want to miss out on getting your reservation. You may want to try calling Vacation Planning. (To make reservations through VP you need to be staying onsite - but they might know more about what's going on. - just explan what happened and I'm sure they would check for you!)

That sometimes happens at the beginning of the month for some reason. I had to call back for ages last year for our WoC dining reservation on the 3rd too.

WoC you can do two months in advance but Fantasmic is only 30-days. Not sure why, but that's how it is! I'm waiting a couple more days, too, for our Fantasmic reservations.

You should have been able to do it today, August 3rd. Since August has 31 days, 28 days remaining from today + 2 should be September 2nd.

I'm having the same issue. I've been calling daily since Monday. Looking at same date, September 2nd.

Woo Hoo!! Just got our reservations for the 9:00pm show. We are starting to get excited! Thanks to all for all the helpful hints on this forum or I would have had no idea how to go about doing all this.
