I have been to disney 3 times in the last 3 years and everytime I got a Fantasmic package; the last 2 times it has rained out:sad1: I really want to go! Here's the problem it is 120 or so days out (Nov 29) and I can't get a reservation. I've been calling 5-6 times per week for the last month, and nothing. I have a 3 yr old autistic son and there is absolutely zero possibility he will stand in line an hour, let alone 2 ( my 5yr old, 9yr old and hubbie won't be real thrilled either, but they will get over it:rotfl:) Anyway with all y'all vast experience:worship: (just guessing I won't hold you to it) How late do you think we can get in line and get a seat or does anyone have any suggestions? Can I stand in line with my girls and my husband come in after we get a seat with my son? or is that frowned upon?

Thanks

By all means you can do that. They can just save your place. No biggie. We have done this before with a 2 yr old not standing in line that long.

When I went last Sept during free dining on one of only two nights it was open that week I waited an hour and had my pick of seats. We were in early and were in like a PERFECT spot.

We easily could have come in 45min to an hour later.

Also many people saved a few seats so if you and the older kids did the line like an hour - 45 min before the show you could easily save enough space for the last two.

If you got a GAC card for him, they should make a special provision for you so that you don't have to wait that long in line or on a concrete bench *Ugh*. I would ask at Guest Services that morning for sure

We've gone and DH was still parking the stroller and going to the bathroom, and they ftold us that we could not save a seat for him - said that we had to have our whole party together when we entered... Then other times, we've seen people saving half a row for family members outside in the park.

I have a related question:
How far in advance of the show do they actually let people start sitting down? We have always done the package, and people are sitting down already when we get there 45 min or so before. We are considering doing regualr seating this time as the first week in March is supposed to be low crowds, and we don't have to be right down front. I asm NOT going to stand in line for an hour and then sit and wait another hour. Do you think we will get ok seats it we show up to the line just as they are opening the theater, or sohuld we just do the package again? we would really like to be more centered than the package seating, even if it is closer to the back.
