Does Fantasmic show every night? I've been on the Disney website trying to plan my Disney trip. For the other parks, when you click on a specific date, it shows the fireworks and parades for that day. Fantasmic doesn't show though.

And if it's every day, any guess on what time it will be if MGM hours are 9-8?

::MickeyMo Fantasmic! has been on every night whenever I've gone. It only gets cancelled for rain and severe weather conditions. During peak times, they show it twice, but otherwise it starts when the park closes. i.e. If the park is open from 9-9, then Fantasmic! starts at 9pm. ::MinnieMo

Hi wannabebelle - I was actually on the phone with Disney Dining yesterday trying to make ADR's and figure out a good time to eat either pre- or post-Fantasmic and they were able to tell me the exact show time for the day I requested - we will be at MGM on 12/16, it is open from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Fantasmic is at 7 p.m. that day. You may want to call Disney Dining and see if they can help you out with the time of Fantasmic for your requested day!

::MickeyMo That's so crazy. I wonder if it has to do with being Christmas. Think it will be dark enough? We're going in Jan. and the latest Fantasmic package I could get was for 4:30pm. ::MinnieMo

That's pretty good!! The latest Fantasmic package I could get was 4 p.m.! I think we will just go for a counter meal that day and wait in the Fantasmic line. I really wanted to eat at Brown Derby, but I would rather see Fantasmic! and my kids are going to think I'm nuts if I tell them we are eating dinner at 4 p.m. and interrupt "play time"! I had asked if they had post-Fantasmic dinner times - I thought 7:45 or 8:00 p.m. would be PERFECT, but since the park closes at 8 p.m. the very last seating at all of the sit-down restaurants at MGM is at 6 p.m. Oh well. I think it will be dark enough - the timing probably has to do with predicted crowd levels at that time of the year I suppose? I hope you have a great time!

I was just about to ask this question. I wonder why the official site doesn't have the Fantasmic times posted.

::MickeyMo A few years ago I went with my school (we were singing at the Candlelight Processional) and our first day was MGM. Well, we didn't know any of the closing or last seatings! Everything was closed or closing! The only place that wasn't was Prime Time and they would only seat us if we sang for them (we were a group of 10 or so, good thing we had all the voice parts!)! It was crazy. Then waiters and waitresses kept coming up to us all through our meal and having us sing. We barely even ate. LoL. ::MinnieMo

Try this website...click on 'park hours' on the calendar and it will list Fantasmic! time (or times) for that day.

http://www.mgmstudios.org/hours/

I appreciate all the "non-official" site listings, but do you guys think those are enough of a guarantee to base your plans on?

Well..... Even Disney sometimes changes their times, after they've been posted.

Most sites, like the DIS(http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm#blue-hours) seem to be very much on top of the hours (bad pub. if they don't get it right). On, the other hand, I share your concern about that and will be calling Disney before we leave for the latest updates.

::MickeyMo Sometimes I get more information from the "unofficial" sites than the official one believe it or not. It's especially good when more than one "unofficial" site confirms each other. ::MinnieMo
