Fantasmic question

Hello,

We are down next week. We got the firework dine package via Brown Derby for Tuesday. We later decided to splurge on the after hours tickets offered that Wednesday. I'd love to switch my DHS dine/Fantasmic experience now to that night--Wednesday...but of course, nothing available. I can get the dining reservation no issues--but I can't get the fireworks dining.

Question, if we don't have guaranteed fireworks package, how has it been to get into Fantasmic? I've noticed only one show is offered now and given the fact the dining/fantasmic is sold out, I'm guessing it will be pretty full. Have they been turning people away?

They turn guests away most nights. If you wish to attend Fantasmic you need to go with enough time to secure a seat. If there is only one show I would recommend you arrive at least 45 mins before the show begins. There may be seats available after that but 45 mins is in the safe window to secure a seat most nights.

I'm planning on the night of After Hours being my only time at Studios since there's not that much I really care to do there - at least not to burn a ticket for the day. I'd thought I might try to hit a couple of rides and then go to Fantasmic, but it's sounding like I might should head directly to line up once I'm in the park? (I can get in at 7...Fantasmic is at 9.)

We went on Sunday. There were still 4 empty sections when we arrived about 30 minutes early but we got good seats down low near the center.

The outer sections did fill right at showtime.
