Hi.

I was wondering whether there is any difference between the Fantasmic in Disneyland and the one in the Magic Kingdom? We live near Disneyland and have seen that Fantasmic many times, so I would probably spend time seeing other things if it's the same show.

Thanks for the input!

This is based on my memory from last May but there is a slight difference. At WDW, there is no Peter Pan or sailing ship like the Columbia. There is a short Pocahontas sequence.

Personally, I thought the DL version was better. I was really wowed by the Columbia coming around the riverbend with Peter and Captain Hook dueling up in the rafters. The big advantage about the WDW version is the stadium. It's a far more pleasant experience to not have to crane your neck around people to see it. This is why my 5 year old enjoyed the WDW version better. What makes it even nicer is if you are doing the dinner package at Disney/MGM studio. There's a reserve section for you so you don't have to stake out a place 3 hours in advance.
