Fantasmic Question

Hi there!

We'll be in WDW at the end of August (23-29) and while I never really considered doing Fantasmic before due to the select nights and crowds, I am considering going now that it is shown each evening. I, of course, am too late to get a dinner package and I don't know how brave I am to line up en masse with thousands of people. pixiedust:

Questions...

1. I'm not really interested in getting the "best" view, just a good/decent view. How long before do I need to line up with my 2 kiddos? Does the fact that it is shown each evening affect how early I need to line up?

2. I'm expecting medium to low crowds for my dates. If you're able to look into your Disney crystal ball,:wizard: can you predict if at the end of August whether Fantasmic will be packing the crowds in- even with shows each night?

3. With shows each night, is there a "best night" to see Fantasmic?

Thanks in advance!
Christine

Hi Christine,

Due to the time of year you are going (moderately low crowds) and the fact that Fantasmic! is showing every night, I think if you are in line 30 minutes prior, you'll do fine.

You'll get a great seat with no stress.

As far as which night, I would go when there isn't evening EMHs.

No stress is exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks!:thumbsup2

Christine,

All of the seats have great views.

The general admission seating has you enter in the middle of the theater. They will try to fill up the theater from left to right as you face the stage. The reserve seating is all the way on the right as you enter the theater. They will enter at a different gate on the right side of the theater. Try to get as close to the right or center of the stadium as possible. If you plan on leaving the park after the show don't leave the way you came in. You want to leave the far right exit (facing the stage). Less people take that exit. It will take you closer to the exit of HS.

Lots of people will line up in front of Beauty and the Beast for Fantasmic. You can talk to cast members and they can tell you if you need to jump in line or not. They are good at judging the crowd size. This is one time where being first in line is not the greatest. It forces you to seat all the way in to the left side and it takes forever to get out. Our recent trip in June we gave our reserved seating to another family so that we could take advantage of some fast passes and went to the later show of Fantasmic!. When we lined up the line was out to being in front of the Beauty Theater. We made it into the show without any problems and were able to sit on the side of the theater that we wanted to so that we could make our escape once the show was over.

I hope this helps! Enjoy the show! It's one of my family's favorites.

Have Fun,
James

I don't understand, low- moderate crowds, Fantasmic every night..until October. Of course, October is F&W with heavier crowds, but Fantasmic only two nights a week?:confused3 Bummer.
