Fantasmic question about seating?

I'm almost positive there isn't going to be a second show. I'd say get there a bit earlier and don't forget to do Disney Jr show

Fantasmic was performed twice on 8 evenings last September, generally on Mondays and Saturdays throughout the month. The final schedule wasn't released until August 10th.

You would be surprised. Even at half full, there are a lot more young kids at the late show than you would imagine and the guys selling the flashing lights, etc. still do a really good business.

Each of mine took their first WDW trip when they were 1, and we never thought about attending the early show or leaving the parks early. Even when they were little, we found it much easier to let then stay up late than to make them get up early. Plus, I don't think 10:30 is "awful late" while on vacation.

It might depend on the child. For instance, my 5 year old nephew wakes up at 5:30 AM every day on his own, and his sister isn't far behind. I am not sure what time he goes to bed. But for them, it is always easier to do things earlier in the day than later. My son is only 3 months old, but he usually goes to sleep for the night around 8:30 and I can't keep him in bed much later than 5:30 or 6 AM (which is not what I would prefer, but I learned quickly that I am not the boss). If a child is used to going to bed around 7:30 or 8, 10:30 is "awful late." I've been in the theme parks late before and seen overtired children melting down.

I guess my point is that it's important to know your own kid and how he/she will react to such a deviation in his/her schedule.

In September, Fantasmic will be at 8:00 and if it's EMH or a weekend, there may be a 2nd show at 9:30.

We are going the first week of August. Right now the calendar shows only one showing - at 9pm. So is it very probable there will be a second showing??

Possibly on an EMH night and on Saturday. It really will also depend on what's going on with SW fireworks. If the fireworks get extended beyond March, it may affect Fantasmic scheduling.

Currently on a 2 Fant night, the shows are two hours apart rather than 1.5 hours apart... all due to fireworks and dessert party scheduling.

Ok well i guess fantasmic isn't anything i have to really plan that far in advance we will be at HS for the afternoon evening and i'll see that week what time its going to be and then plan accordingly. Hopefully if its at a time that isn't to late and we think our kids can make it we will shoot to get a 4th fast pass. I just hate how spread out everything is at HS

Last summer, Fantasmic was performed twice nightly through August 24 then on select nights only after that. August hours were not finalized until July 10.

We are planning on being there on an EMH night. Thanks for the info!

I'll try and stay patient until July! Yikes!

I booked a package too. We'll have a Disney newbie with us so Fantasmic is on the must-see list.

Thanks for all the replies!
