Since we will be doing a full day at HS in August (I don't want to use a FP+ as it's tier1 so were then unable to get Toy story or R&R, and also unable to get a 4th. And none of the dining fantasmic packages are appealing to me), I was wondering what time we'd need to get in line for an 8.30 show? Also, is the line all outdoors?
Thanks!

The line is all outdoors. I would arrive around 7:15p.

Ah that's not too bad. I was thinking it would be more like 6.30. What time do they start letting people in?

For an 8:30 start, figure that the seating area will open between 7:15 and 7:30-ish.

But, if the line is long, they can let guests into the long, long, outdoor path that LEADS to the theater even before they open the actual seating.

I must be missing something. If you use up your 3 FP+s can't you then get a FP for Fanastmic. At when time do they run out of FPs for Fantasmic?

If they're available, sure. The time they run out varies greatly, depending on crowds, demand, and number of shows.

If they have any left we will definitely book our 4th for fantasmic. I just don't want to book it right away and then not be able to ride any tier 1 ride all day because we've used our only tier 1 FP+ on fantasmic.
