Fantasmic pkg. changes

Just saw this on Deb's, don't remember seeing anything on here about it, with me this is probably old news. We had thought about this for Oct. but not anymore, we will stick with 50's PTC and if we see Fantasmic,great and if not ,Oh well.

If you're booking the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, you'll find now that only Hollywood & Vine has a fixed price for the dinner -- the price of the buffet. You may now order from the a la carte menu at Brown Derby and Mama Melrose's when using this package.

The way I read the info is no fixed price pkg, escept for HV and that is already a fixed price for the buffett. I read it to say that you would need a credit card to hold the ADR for the pkg but other than that no aditional cost. You would just get the pkg and then order what you want, for DDP this would men entree,drink,and dessert.

I read it on her resturant news and searched everywhere here with no mention of it.I do think it is odd that no one else is reporting it.

The elimination of the appetizer for basic DDP may indeed be the result - we will have to see what happens when people who go report in.

We did the Fantasmic Package at MM at the end of May. Everyone ordered what they wanted and they said with the package that an appetizer was included. We each ordered one (even the appetizer that say are for two people counted as one order). We had lots of food.

The appetizer has always been included - but the above posts are concerning a new change that has been announced just this week. Can't figure out the reason for this change - unless it's about that appetizer.
