Fantasmic Package?

We've seen Fantasmic before, but DH has a new camera so I was thinking of taking him to see it again while we were at the Studios...

What is this Fantasmic Package I keep seeing?

Nope, the restaurants are the Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, and Hollywood and Vine.

The package prices are set. With the dining plan, it is one table service credit per person at Hollywood & Vine and one at Mama Melrose. At Brown Derby, it is two table service credits per person. Please note that for the Fantasmic Package only with the dining plan you get an appetizer as well.

Question - do you get to choose any appetizer/entree or is there a select menu for the Fantasmic package?

We do this everytime we go to that park. The best value is Hollywood and Vine it is a GREAT buffet with lots of really good food and dessert choices. I am a Gastric Bypass Patient so I have to be careful and I have no trouble there even the pickiest eater will be happy.

You book your package, arrive on time, they seat you and give you your passes to get in the side entrance for Fantasmic. Make sure you hold on to those passes someone will collect them as you enter the side of the stadium if you don't have them they can't let you in.

Also once you are in there is a cast member that keeps other people from coming to sit in that area before the show starts so if you are leaving and re-entering that area they will give you a password to tell them when you come back in.

I definately recommend that you go and see it again. They have updated the show, cut out some things, changed to brighter wardrobes. Also I heard they are getting ready to cut this show back to only 2 times a week so I would see it while you can.

Three restaurants participate: Mama Melrose (the one we go to every year), Hollywood & Vine (one of two Disney restaurants we will NEVER step foot in again--TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE FOOD) and Brown Derby--Brown Derby is two table service credits. There is no special menu...you order off the regular menu.

we did Hollywood & Vine in May 2008 on the DDP for the Fantasmic Package. Loved the restaurant, loved the seats, loved Fantasmic.

We'll be back in September on FD, this time we're doing the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package. Can't Wait. Love me some Disney food right now

So here's a questions....my girls will be 2 1/2 and almost 4 when we go...will Fantasmic be too scary for them or would they enjoy it? THANKS again!
