fantasmic package

we are going in january 2008
last year we did hollywood & ine and got the package, this next trip we will only be going to MGM 1 day and we really want to do 50's prime time
should we take a risk and make a 6pm dinner ressies and wing it? or should we do the package

i figured i can go and get in line for fantasmic about 1-1½hours before the show and is hould be ok,

what do you guys think?

I would wing it and save the cash. Eat where you really want.

we did the restaurant a good three hours before fantasmic started and we just walked about and did some of the attractions and enjoyed ourselves......we then went to the entrance. .. ... if you do prime time for supper then jsut do it.......you will feel better....

Unless you're going at New Year's or MLK weekend; I'd wing it. We've were there in January 2006 and 2007 and got seats without the package. We were only two, which is easier then a big family, but if you go a little early, you should be good. (We were more like a half hour; not an hour and a half.)

What time is Fantasmic? If it is 7:00, a 6:00 ADR is too close!

You only need to find a seat about an hour before to get a good one.

You will not encounter a line. Just walk in and pick a seat.

You don't really need the package in the off season, non-holiday.
