Fantasmic package questions. PLEASE HELP!

Before you tell me I should have started sooner, this was a last minute trip.

We are going April 7 - 11 and I just got off the phone from trying to get a PS for the Fantasmic package for any of those nights. There were no packages available for any of the nights for any of the restaurants. (I was able to book the exact time and day for the Rose and Crown at the time for Illuminations.) The CM told me that I could still get a reservation to eat in the restaurants but not the package. He also said, and this I have never heard before, that I can go to Guest Services at MGM and get a pass to go to Fantasmic.

As anyone heard of this pass? Any ideas on how to get to Fantasmic without waiting in the line?

I am so excited to be going that even if this doesn't work out, it won't spoil the trip. We will do something else instead.

I never heard of a pass. Keep trying for the PS but don't fret. The package does not alway work for everyone and at the end of a long day, sitting down for an hour before the show starts isn't such a bad idea.

I tried to get the pkg. at least 60 days ago for the dates you listed too and was told there was NO availability too. I ended up taking hollywood and vine anyway for dinner. We will just hang around till the 2nd fantasmic show. It wont kill us too much as we are staying at the swan. All the dining CM kept saying is, remember this does NOT include the fantasmic seating etc. Yeah, I got the picture.

Never heard of the pass either.

Keep trying. Also, ask if they might be able to convert your reservation to a Fantasmic pkg. when you're at the restaurant. I've overheard a couple people ask a waiter about this and he returned with Fantasmic tickets for that night. This was a couple years ago, so don't know if this happens any more.

Dont feel bad about the PS. We are going on those dates and getting a dinner package for Fanstamic was just about as hard as getting our PS for CRT.
For some reason.. they only make the PS package reservations from 4:00 to 4:30? At least thats what the CM told me.. (and I trust them as far as I can throw them).

We have never heard of this pass. I guess we were lucky to get PS for Fantasmic. I believe we did it about 60 days ago and used the credit card to book it. Keep trying. I called today and asked about ps for the ice cream social at Epcot. We didn't know if we were going to Epcot on the day we arrive on 4-5-04 or on Wednesday, 4-7-04. They didn't have any ps for the Wednesday, but did for that Monday. All I can suggest is book ahead of time and if not keep trying and you never know when you may get that magical break.

Keep trying when you get down there. They do have a 24 hr cancellation policy (at least the last time I booked) so you may get lucky if you really want one.
