Fantasmic Package Needed?

My family of 5 plan to be at MGM on Tuesday May 30. According to the Disney web site, there is only one Fantasmic show, at 9:00pm. Do we need a Fantasmic dinner package if the show is this late? Do they really only have one show that night? I thought they usually had two.....

We will also be at WDW the week before you (May 21st-28th). I tried to get the Fantasmic Pkg for Mama Melrose for any night that week and have been calling back almost daily to check for cancellations. Both Mama Melrose and Brown Derby is booked solid all weekl. I did manage to get in at Hollywood & Vine. Don't forget that's Memorial Day weekend. We booked this trip at the last minute a few weeks ago and was told at first that all Value resorts and all Mod resorts were booked solid. Finally a very nice CM went to guest services and got us a preferred room at POP. He said that was the only room available at any value or mod. If you can get a Fantasmic Pkg this late I would advise you to do so. It sounds like they are very busy that week.

They typically only have one presentation of Fantasmic each night. Only on holidays and during typical holiday weeks, to they tend to have two shows. Tuesday after Memorial Day isn't likely to be one of those days, given that many school children simply must be back at school, to prepare for their up-coming final exams.
