Fantasmic or Topolino’s tonight

Got this email earlier today for Membership Extras. I also have a reservation at Topolino’s for dinner at 9:05pm and hope to catch some fireworks since my standard view at the Riviera has a couple of trees blocking the view.
I have a park hopper and this is our last night before heading to Hilton Head tomorrow.
Should I ditch Topolino’s for Fantasmic???

DVC only showing at 930. Otherwise, I would easily pick Topolino’s.

Since it’s only for DVC members I’m hoping it’s definitely less of a wait. I was already planning to hop to HS to see the 8:00 show so this is great!

I was just getting on the bus from HS last night when I got the push notice that Fantasmic was back on.

I was able to get a res this at Mama Melrose for tonight before the show. Topolinos is a tough call!

We ate at Topolino's a year ago October. The service and view were delightful, the food not so much.

The Florida version has always been a bit underwhelming. The CA and Tokyo versions are/were much better.

As someone who has never been to Disneyland or Tokyo, who happens to be here for a surprise Membership Extra because I had to add an extra night because of the storm, I’m going to enjoy the show tonight.

I don’t need to see it every time I’m here, but I’m glad there’s people who don’t get it and think it doesn’t measure up, who won’t be adding to the crowd whenever I do watch it in the future.

How was the surprise showing? We couldn't get into Topolino’s early and didn’t want to get to HS late and not be allowed entry. Plus, we were up early for AK rope drop and hopped to Epcot for GOTG ILL.
