Fantasmic only certain nights?

Hi! I just received my travel documents from the Magicforless. We will be at WDW Jan.27-30. From what I can tell, Fantasmic is only available on Thurs night at 6:30 and 8:00pm, and Sunday at 6:30pm- which doesn't work with my flights! Is it normal for it only to show a few days of the week during that season? Also, looks like MSEP isn't every night too? Just checking- I guess I have gotten spoiled during busier seasons. Maybe there will be less lines this time?

Fantasmic used to be every night, but a year or two ago they scaled back to a couple nights per week as a cost-saving measure. During busier seasons, Fantasmic is done more often, but it still isn't every night like it used to be.

You are also correct that MSEP isn't every night. More like once every couple nights.

Yep. When we are going in September I think Fantasmic! only shows 5 or 6 times in the 2 weeks we will be there.

They stopped showing Fantasmic nightly awhile back.MSEP also does not run every night in the less busier times of year

Up until a week or so ago, there was only going to be ONE showing on Sun and one on Thurs, so they've already increased the schedule. I would bet there is zero likelihood that they'll expand the schedue again.

If they do schedule Fantasmic while you are there, plan for that day to be packed. The limited number of showings have made those days super busy.

This week F! was Sunday, Monday and today (Thursday); next week it is scheduled for Monday and Thursday only.

Agreed. We did our one day at HS on the same day as Fantasmic and it was a 40 minute wait to see Buzz and Woody! During the time we usually go, the first or second week of November, we aren't used to lines much longer than 20 minutes (obviously not terrible and by no means complaining, just showing a comparison).
