I saw the 9:00pm show of fantasmic last week. I noticed some changes. At the beginning of the show mickey did not come up from the elevator, he ran in from off stage. In the lion king scene (and this is definitely NEW) the mist extends VERY FAR INTO THE AUDIENCE. In the Pocahontas scene John Smith does not swing over to the other side of the island he shows himself and the returs into the mountain. Pocahontas appears and then you see him on the other side. Mickey at the end did the EXACT same thing he did in the opening. Does anyone know if this is new or just new stuff their trying out?

not likely. they occasionally experience technical difficulties with the lifts and such. we saw it on July 24th. there are two witches but they couldn't switch because the trap door wasn't operating. the lift that takes her up wasn't working and the something went wrong with the snake. you were there a week later so it's possible that repairs haven't been made yet.

I know there is an extended sequence of the Lion King on the water screens where they show shots from "Just Can't Wait to the King", right around the time the jungle animals come out. Probably that point.
