Fantasmic - Must do?

Absolutely a must do, especially if you're with people who haven't seen it yet. It catches the true Disney Magic - the best Disney show ever!

We have seen it once - done! Our family has no "need" to see it again. We watch the parades, fireworks and Illuminations again and again, but don't have that same need with Fantasmic.

It's good, but it was truly a hassle to view.

If you are new to WDW, skip it this time. There are so many more great things to do with your evening while in WDW.

If you go to WDW more often, then add it to your list.
My famil eels the same way. WE had not seen it, which was deliberate, becas ewe had a little on who would have been frightened, so when we finally went we were expecting to be amazed. So long waiting and finally!!!! I will say I am glad I saw it one time, but will not make a point of seeing it again. If I was traveling with someone who had not seen it, and if it was convenient, I would book a FP or dinner, because we have to eat anyway. The rest of my family has vetoed it completely.

We went around that time in Nov a couple of years ago. We had never been to Fantasmic in our last trips, and I'm so glad we gave it a try. It was worth seeing at least once. I got a FP but we didn't need it at all. We had excellent, front row seats with no one around us. If the ADR is what has you puzzled, I think you will be okay to drop it and take your chances with getting in the show. Just keep in mind (for the 4 y.o.) it got chilly and water sprayed on us quite a lot, so I used one of our souvenirs (a blanket) to cover the kids.

I have only seen Fantasmic 1 time in my life and that was when I was 10 years old. I have only been to Walt Disney World twice in my life at age 3 and 10. I am now 21 and plan to take my now just over 1 month old daughter when she turns 3 years old to WDW. I remember how much I enjoyed the Fantasmic Show when I was 10, but I am not sure if a 3 year old will like it. May be too scary for a 3 year old. We may skip it until she is older, but it is a fantastic show.

It's my favorite show at Disney. Back in April we went to the second show and it was only half full. We grabbed a FP+ for the second show on our way in. For the second show they put the FP people in the Mickey section so it was great!

See I am sort of in the same boat. My family would love to see it but its the dining thats throwing us off. Not only the F! lunch package (we have an earier lunch ADR) but what to do about dinner? Eat before? After? Or just skip F! all together.

We took a later lunch (closer to the 2:30) and were stuffed. We just grabbed a snack for F! watching. I think if you can make it work then see the show. If you are eating an earlier lunch, just play dinner by ear.

If you've never seen it, I would highly recommend it. I never had much desire until someone told me we "couldn't possibly miss it." It's a staple for us now. It's, IMO, one of the best things at Disney.

I have a 3 year old who is extremely sensitive to loud base like noises. Any noise feedback on this show? I really would like to attend.
