Fantasmic menus.....

The Fantasmic FAQ thread is a little intimidating so I thought I would ask....for the Brown Derby.....do they give you a different menu than the "normal" one? as well as MM?

They do give a special Fantasmic Package menu at MM. We ate there in Nov/Dec. It had a great variety though, so we didn't mind.

I remember it being very similar to the regular menu. We all shared a flatbread and we had a choice as to which kind. I ordered steak and DH had the Chicken Parm. We could choose from a few desserts, not just Tiramisu as it used to be. We had a family style salad to share. The kids had a few kids choices like pasta and pizza and a few desserts to choose from.

I found it to be just fine.

We had the FDP at the Hollywood Brown Derby in December. We ordered off the regular menu. The meals and service were great.

Thanks for this information! We're eating at MM on the Fantasmic package during our August trip, mainly because my friend ADORES tiramisu! I, on the other hand, hate it and was getting a bit worried about missing dessert Glad to hear I should be able to get some other yummy pudding!

now I am wondering what is the latest time available to dine...

The package times they give you are usually VERY early and are always no later then 2 hours before the show.

Also at around 30 days out, they release more, later package times but still no more then 2 hours before the show.

We've got 5pm for a night when Fantasmic! only shows once, at 7.30pm. Do you think this will be enough time? There are only 2 of us, both adults.

We called our 180 days out and got 6:30 for FBD.

We currently have a 6:20 pm FDP at Mama Melrose's for our trip in June that I called & scheduled in early February.

And I'm so happy about the tiramasu! That's one of the reasons I scheduled Mama Melrose's! Isn't that crazy? I coudn't care less about the rest of menu - I just want the tiramasu!

Oh btw my friend chose MM based on the tiramisu! I let her have it even though I hate tiramisu, she loves it so much I'd go without dessert to make her happy That and I chose Crystal Palace whether she likes it or not
