That seals it. I am going to go on Dec 12 to see how much of a cluster this is all going to be.
I of course know they will make adjustments, but for those first few weeks its going to be bad.
From what I have read so far...
The Blue Bayou viewing area will be on the ground, near the water across from Cafe Orleans. Which basically means they will be located in front of the now dessert buffet area sitting on cushions. The River Belle Terrace area will probably be, where the dessert buffet area use to be, but this time you have to stand. Which means if you are in a standing section you better get to your viewing holding area an 1 hour to 30 minutes before the time posted on your Fastpass ticket so you can get a spot against the front railing (or 2 hours before showtime), similar to what you currently have to do for the World of Color.
The Grab n GO FP will get the Pirates bridge, which again equals that you better show up earlier than your FP time. When that viewing location was never that busy in the past.
The Hungry Bear Dessert viewing area I am unsure of.
Now take all of the above into account when you talk about the second 1030pm show. Those guests will probably be held in a particular location and again if you want to get the best spots against the rail you are going to have to wait through the first show and the fireworks.
If you want to imagine even more... There will be additional guests coming from Main Street after the fireworks to get into the viewing holding areas or standby viewing areas. All for a second show that guests in the past use to go to because you didn't have to wait more than 45 minutes to see.
All of this during one of the busiest times of the year. City Hall better be ready.
