I have a fantasmic dining package for Wed. Dec. 13th. My dinner reservation at Mama Melrose is at 3:30 and is a bit early for us. I would rather not use the dining package and instead use my dining plan table service credit for another restaurant. Do you think I can see fantasmic without the package if I arrive to the theater about 45 minutes before? I'm just not sure if its worth it. The seats are all the way off to the side too. What do you guys think? :confused3

I go to Disney every year that same week in Dec and i Have never used the dinner package. You should not have a problem getting seats. We usually go 45 min to one hour prior. Of course I get snacks for the girls before we go so they dolnt get to bored waiting.

Would anyone recommend keeping the dining package (with a 3:30 ADR) on a Monday in December, which is a EMH night? Since the parade is moved to 3:00, mu original conflict does not exist, but 3:30 still seems early. On the other hand, if the park will be packed because of EMH I do not want to wait a very long time with a 4YO at the theater.

This is my exact dilemma! I am not really excited about eating at 4pm at MM but I am terrified that the park will be packed due to EMH and we won't get into Fantasmic without waiting for an hour before the show. I also have a 2 and 4 year old and they are really bad at waiting.

Just saw that there is an additional showing of Fantasmic on the EMH nights in December - 8:30 I think. So, now, I am thinking I will drop the dinner package, as 3:30 was just too early, and just have CS or snacks at DS (we have so many TS meals scheduled, that we will probably be sick of eating like that anyway). So, then we would go to the second show.
