My cousin RAVES about Fantasmic, says it's the single best show of any kind he's ever seen anywhere, a MUST SEE!

We have dinner and Fantasmic reservations, and we have a 5 yo and a 7 yo. I'm wondering - is the show good for kids their ages? Thanks in advance!

MY girls enjoyed it. But my girls loved TOT as soon as they were tall enough to ride and Dinosaur was never scary for them.

The show itself is fine, but is a little dark with all of the villains. Even with the dinner package, you will wait a good long while of very uncomfortable bleachers. THAT may get to your kids.

I think it depends on the kids. If they've seen most of the classic Disney movies and the villains don't scare them, then they'll probably be okay. The villains take over the show and are very big and scary to some kids. Only you know your kids well enough to make the call. Mickey does win in the end, so if they can just make it through some of the dark parts, it ends on a high note.

As long as your kids dont get scared of villans I think its a pretty awesome show. I cant say what your kids will enjoy but mine loved it at that age but mine also never had a fear of any ride. They think Tower of terror was the best ride ever at 4 years old and they love Dinosaur.
Watch it on you tube to see what it is like. That is what we do for any we are not sure of or unfamiliar or really just bc its fun.

Our 5 year old thought it was too loud when we went the first time.
Ear plugs solved that problem second go round.

I agree with others that it depends on the kids. We went in October with our 5 and 9 year old and both quite enjoyed. But there are parts with villains and a big dragon. Our family really enjoyed it though and its a neat mix of parade/water/lights/costumes and scenery, etc

We showed our boys a video of some of it and they decided if they wanted to see it or not. It looked really good, but unfortunately it rained the day we did HS and they cancelled it.

Our daughter went the first time about that age and HATED it, but she is easily frightened. She is 11 and still doesn't want to see it again. Fortunately, DW and I aren't big fans either. So it really does depend on the kid. I know lots of kids that went that age and love it.

Our boys, 6 and 3, sat in the front row, where yes, you get wet from the mist, and loved it. Just prepare them for it being dark, loud, filled with bad guys and fire, but that Mickey wins because Mickey always wins. :-)

My kids have seen it at age 2, 3, 4 and 5 and have loved it everytime. It's a family favorite.

Even though my daughters hated the scary/bad guy parts of movies until at least age 9, they had no trouble enjoying Fantasmic. My most recent trip, we had kids aged 2-67 ;) and everyone loved it.

My little cousin was 6 when we went. He wasn't a fan of Hollywood Studios at all but LOVED Fantasmic! It's all he talked about the rest of the trip.

my kids started watching Fantasmic at ages 4 and 6 and both LOVED it so much, that became a must do on their list for every time. It's a family favorite, most definitely.
