Fantasmic! - Friday, Dec. 17 - help

Hi all - I'm hoping someone who is planning to be at the park this Friday can help me. I'm taking a very special lady to Disneyland for the first time. She's obviously never seen Fantasmic - A show I consider to be one of the best ever produced.

Here's the problem. We're flying in to LA Friday night and won't arrive to the park until about 9 PM. I can't tell you how excited I am to have her see the show and am hoping someone (a Dland regular or Fantasmic afficionado) may be able to save us two riverside seats in front of Tower B for the 10:30 performance.

I would be so grateful! Will gladly show up with bowls of that delicious gumbo or clam chowder as a thank you for helping me to show her Disney magic at its best.... You can email me and we'll figure something out.

As you can probably tell from my post -- I'm a frequent visitor to Dland... but just moved to SF for work... I'm flying back down for the night because Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without Disneyland -- and my date has never been. Seemed too perfect to pass up.

If you are arriving at the park at 9 p.m., you should be able to get the riverside seats for the 10:30 show. First Fantasmic will be at 9:00 p.m. and the area won't clear out until after Believe fireworks. (which will be close to 9:45). I assume oyu want to watch the fireworks on Main Street. Just watch them from the hub and as soon as the snow is over, grab her hand and claw your way over to Fantasmic. You shouldn't have much of a problem getting the area you wanted.

Is Fantasmic back up and running? They need the columbia for that is it out of refurb?

The Columbia is out of refurb and Fantasmic is supposed to begin on Friday. Once the holiday season is over, it will continue to run in lieu of fireworks on the weekends.

ETA: In May, fireworks will return with the new fireworks show for the 50th anniversary.
