Fantasmic FP+ Question

If you use a FP+ for Fantasmic, do you have to sit in the FP+ area? Or can you sit in the General Seating area?

I'm trying to make Fantasmic at 7 and Illuminations at 9 on the same day, so I would rather sit closer to the exit - which is more the General Seating area from the map I found - but would rather not wait in the standby line for forever (this will be over Presidents Week).

2. Yes.

Of course, if you don't want to sit in the FP section, there is no need to get FP.
Simply arrive 45-60 min. before show time (which you should do even with a FP) and grab a seat in the back, where you want to sit.

I already have FP+ for the 2 other things I do at Studios anyway. Lol. There is one to "waste".

Ha! Well, it was only going to be Springs and Epcot, but then I watched the Twilight Zone marathon on SyFy over New Year's and got the ride on the brain. I may still end up foregoing Studios. We shall see.

Sadly I have the entire series on blu-ray and force my 17 year old to ride it at least once each vacation.
