Going in 2 weeks with dd (7) for cheerleading competition. Dont even know if we can get in, but is it something a nicely behaved (most of the time :) )
kid can go with me to??

Sure! There are tons of kids there. My only suggestion is if she has one of those flashing light tubes that you tuck it under the seat. The child in front of us had one and it was flashing right in our eyes. We asked the dad nicely if he could maybe hold it in his lap and they did and that solved the problem.

We brought our DN6 and DN1 to Fantasmic last month, and they both enjoyed it a great deal.

Yes, Yes, take your kids - it is fabulouse (or is that Fantabulous?)

the wait can be long if you go early to get good seats, so bring something to entertain them with! We usually get a snack, and play "I'm Going on a Picnic" alphabet game or something to pass the time!

I have been with kids from 2-10, and all have loved it! I had more fun the night the two year old was with us watching his reactions.... he was in 'awe" most of the time!

Definitely!! Our kids love the show. As a pp mentioned, you do need to get there early to get a good seat. We've had no problem with the kids during that wait time (we have gotten there 60-90 minutes early). We just plan accordingly to keep them munching on snacks and playing games, etc.

Have fun!

Your kids should be fine as long as they're not scared of fireworks and other loud noises. It's outdoors so it's not as bad as some loud noises on some rides but it is worth mentioning.

My daughter was 7 the first time she saw it and loved it (still does for that matter). You should have no trouble getting in, we were there between Christmas and New Years whenn its packed and got in just fine about one hour before show time. And I believe the 60-90 minute waits people are speaking of are done while sitting in the bleachers. You generally walk in a line of people to enter the amphitheater and then sit down and wait. They sell concessions and have restrooms right inside. During peak seasons we generally enter the entrance area 60 minutes ahead of time and then get seats before DH or I get the refreshments. The crowd always does the "wave" which my kids think is a hoot! Its a lot of fun and like most everything else at WDW is geared towards family. There is also a Fantasmic Dinner Package. You get dinner and then they have a reserved seating area for the dinner package guests. They aren't the very best seats but still really good ones and this can cut down on how early you have to arrive. We did this once but now find we don't have to get there all that much earlier so don't do it anymore. But I am glad we did this for our first time seeing Fantasmic, it made me feel better knowing we had a reserved section to sit in. You make those package reservations at the regular WDW dining number.

We went in December with my 3 yr old grandson. I had purchased the light-up Mickey Sorcerer hat from a trip last May. He wore that in December and he also had one of his light-up Pirate swords from POC and when he would get nervous I told him he had to help Mickey battle the bad guys. He was alright after that. His flashing sword really got a workout!! I think it also helped that we didn't sit down in the front. We were up pretty high. The last time I had a 3-yr old with us, we were down in front and he was scared of all the loud noises and flashes of light.
So if loud noises and flashing lights scare them, sit in the back!! You'll still have a great view. Ya might need to use binoculars, but the kids won't be terrified!!

unless she is particularly sensitive /scared of movies, I'd say yes. i have been permanently scarred by all the tiny toddler aged screaming in fear little ones when we were there but maybe it was a fluke or i just happened to be seated by them all.

At 3 dd loved it, but at 4 the noise and the chernabog were too much for her. Your daughter is older, so I'll bet she'd love it.
